Kyle Egrets Arbeiten entstehen aus musikalischer Intuition, ähnlich als würde man mit einem Musikinstrument improvisieren. Dabei bewegt er sich wie in der Musik in einem logischen harmonischen Gefüge. Seine künstlerische Arbeit hat somit eine sehr enge Verbindung zur Musik, allerdings handelt es sich dabei nicht um Visualisierungen von bestehenden Kompositionen. Vielmehr ist jedes Werk selbst ein Musikstück, ohne dass es dazu eine Form der klassischen musikalischen Notation geben muss.
Kyle Egret’s works arise from musical intuition, similar to improvising with a musical instrument. In doing so, he moves within a logical harmonic structure, as in music. His artistic work thus has a very close connection to music, but it is not visualisations of existing compositions. Rather, each work itself is a piece of music, without the need for any form of classical musical notation.
