Coco Loves Clay – das ist die junge Manufaktur der Münchner Keramik-Künstlerin Coco Pelger. In ihrem Atelier entwirft und baut sie Vasen, Schalen und Designobjekte aus Ton und Porzellan. Jedes Stück ein Unikat. Das Tee-Geschirr „The Bowser“ entwarf sie für die Ausstellung der Architektin Marie Aigner in der Galerie Rossana Orlandi anlässlich der Mailänder Designmesse Salone del Mobile 2023. Die stachelige Kanne erinnert an Pinnochio und die Computerspielfigur Bowser, der Schildkröten-Antagonist von Super-Mario. Die organische Form des Services bildet ein Gegenspiel zu Maries linearen Objekten.
Coco Loves Clay – this is the young manufactory of the Munich ceramic artist Coco Pelger. In her studio she designs and builds vases, bowls and design objects made of clay and porcelain. Each piece is unique. She designed the tea set „The Bowser“ for the exhibition by the architect Marie Aigner in the Rossana Orlandi gallery on the occasion of the Milan design fair Salone del Mobile 2023. The spiked teapot is reminiscent of Pinnochio and the computer game character Bowser, the turtle antagonist of Super Mario. The organic design of the service forms a counterplay to Marie’s linear objects.
